Texas inmate seeks right to allow Buddhist spiritual adviser in death chamber
A Texas inmate is asking the Supreme Court Thursday night to step in at the last minute to block his planned execution, saying the state has refused to allow his Buddhist spiritual adviser to accompany him into the chamber.
